About KV IIT, Kharagpur
Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Kharagpur began its academic flight as an institute of higher learning sector Vidyalaya in 1968. Since its inception this citadel has not only expanded and flourished in various spheres of education but has also established its merit and name in the region and the nation in the fields of academic results, literary activities, games and sports. The vidyalaya initially started its journey in old building inside IIT campus. The new building was granted by IIT Kharagpur inside the campus and the vidyalaya shifted to the present place in 2012.
